        Gingivitis;Increase in the size of the gingiva is a common feature of  gingival enlargement.This conditions are Gingival overgrowth or gingival enlargement.

 WHAT ARE THE CAUSES FOR GINGIVAL DISEASES?

• Drugs induced gingival diseases
• Anticovulsants tablet users such as phenytoin, and nifidipine,cyclosporine 
• lack of immunity
• Systemic diseases- Like Diabetes, pregnancy,puberty,Vitamin c deficiency.  These are common causes for Gingival diseases. 

Gingival enlargement assiciates with drugs.

Gingival enlargement due to -phenytoin drugs

           TREATMENT OPTIONS;

• First you must go to a dentist.
• Chlorhexidine mouthwashes rinses
• Scaling and root planning
• Check  x ray and see attachement loss or bone loss
• Gingivectomy--- To cut the overgrowths of gingiva

   - And moniter the patient recall for 6months

If again increases the gingival enlargement and go to the Surgical treatment - such as Flap surgery,and periodontal surgery.
