WHAT IS WISDOM / IMPACTED TEETH;
                                     According to (WHO),an Impacted Tooth is one that is unable to fully erupt in its Normal functional occulusion/Location by its expected age of eruption,because its is blocked by Overlying soft tissues or bone or another tooth.

               What causes Wisdom Tooth?
                         The causes of impaction of Teeth still not clearly understood,Currently , insufficient amount of space in the distal jaw to second molar, And delayed 3rd molar Mineralization,Premature loss of the primary teeth,Abnormal positioning of the  eruptive tooth  path, Late eruption sequences etc.

                 When to Removal / Extraction of wisdom Teeth;


  1. Reccurrent pain 
  2. Reccurrent Infections
  3. Reccurent Pericoronitis
  4. Impacted 3rd molar
  5. Prevention of Root Resorption
  6. Prior to  Orthodontic Treatment 
  7. Management of Cysts ,Tumours
  8. Prevention of Pathological Fractures

  11. Pain of Unexplained Origin

          TREATMENT:

  • To Check X ray and see The positioning of the Tooth
  • Extract / Remove the wisdom tooth
  • Debridment of the area.
  • Chlorhexidine Mouth wash irrigation
  • Antibiotics
  • Antiflammatory drugs
                      After Treatment is done,Patient must to Rinse with Salt Water 3Times,or Chlohexidine Mouth wash, And not eat Hot or Spicy foods for 1week.

                      If any Painful in Treated area,Again to Visit your Treated Dentist.
